Improving students' pronouncing of Friction Consonants through dubbing Video at the first grade of SMA Negeri 1 Way Jepara

The current study aimed to find out whether the use of dubbing video technique could improve students' achievement pronouncing Friction consonants. It was conducted at first grade students SMAN 1 Way Jepara, in academic year 2021/2022. a quantitative approach with design true experimental where two classes (experimental and control classes) were involved (X IPA 2), each which consisted 30 students. data collected through pretest post test form friction consonants list for pronounce. gain scores both compared using SPSS software 22. results showed that i) significantly improved significant level 0.05, ii) there statistically difference between taught those conventional learning method without technique. result techniques had better than techniques. This suggests facilitates their consonant sounds.
